VINTAGE EROTIC NUDE PHOTOGRAPHY
TUESDAY FEB. 5th, 10am - 1pm, 10 WEEKS, $350 *REGISTER*
This workshop is designed for those who are drawn to fine art nude photography with a vintage stylistic approach. Through lectures and workshops you’ll explore evocative lighting concepts with an emphasis on figurative language. Regular critique sessions will encourage critical thinking and aesthetic awareness and help you grow as an artist.
A history of the nude in photography will be learned in the first class, creating a strong foundation of inspiration for the 4 shooting sessions to follow. In studio we will design lighting concepts and study chiaroscuro on the body. An emphasis is placed on figurative language and how to effectively communicate and direct the nude. Critiques following each shoot will help encourage critical thinking and aesthetic awareness. *COURSE OUTLINE*

CREATIVE SHOOTING PROCESSES AND STYLE DEVELOPMENT

Creative Shooting Processes and Style Development recognizes the importance of visual language in the 21st century. In class creative shooting sessions are meant to visually inspire students and translate that creative vision photographically, follow-up critiques will help students to become aware of and develop style.
A lectures series addresses the study of compositional language, how the human eye reads imagery and trends throughout the contemporary visual world.
The purpose of this course is to inspire creative shooting methods, expanding the portfolio while strengthening and/or discovering visual style.
