DIRECTING THE SUBJECT AND UNDERSTANDING BODY LANGUAGE
August 19th. 7:00pm-10:00pm. 8 sessions. $295

Body language is a universal form of non-verbal communication and a fascinating subject to study.  Current trends in lifestyle & editorial photography depict clear emotions that are genuine, simple & contemporary.  Contrived or traditionally posed (portrait studio) images are not what most clients are looking for in today’s fast paced growing society.
This workshop explores body language in relation to photographing people and how to direct the subject into candid emotive poses.   Lighting techniques will also be learned with natural & studio lighting.

EXHIBIT AND CRITIQUE
August 19th. 7:00pm - 10:00pm  12 sessions (including exhibit installation, teardown & debrief). $395

Exhibit & Critique will support photographers in recognizing and developing their vision as an artist.  The goal for each student in the duration of this course is to conceptualize, produce and execute a series or body of work that will be exhibited at PhotoHaus Gallery in an art show curated by Katie Huisman.
This workshop is a great opportunity for any photographer or artist wanting to show their work in a publicly recognized gallery space.
