Male Nude in the garden was photographed at dusk. The first image of Mark with the Herb Ritts Inspired 'wheel' was lit using available light with just a bit of fill on the body. I love the even-ness of the ratio in that image I wanted to do the opposite for the second photo so I created a dark & heavey atmosphere. To light the body I used a small softbox set about 3 stops brighter than the ambient light creating the 1:8 ratio.
