Male Nude in the Garden.

Male Nude in the garden was photographed at dusk. The first image of Mark with the Herb Ritts Inspired 'wheel' was lit using available light with just a bit of fill on the body. I love the even-ness of the ratio in that image I wanted to do the opposite for the second photo so I created a dark & heavey atmosphere. To light the body I used a small softbox set about 3 stops brighter than the ambient light creating the 1:8 ratio.

Ranch Life.

Every summer I visit my sister at Skyline Ranch where she lives with her husband and his family. I love experiencing the cowboy lifestyle; which is always humbling. Each morning, at the crack of dawn we'd put on our boots, fill up our coffee's and i'd follow Heather into the pastures to round up mares for the morning trail ride.
my best friend Lacey has a special connection with horses... i was on my stomach rolling around in the wild roses to capture this beautiful moment of her returning Lexie back to the pastures.
